Melanie and I met when we used to cheerlead in middle school for the River Plaza/Lincroft Chargers. I thought she looked like Miss Honey from Matilda so naturally I wanted to befriend her. We've been good friends ever since. Not only is she a super duper friend but she is super duper talented. She paints. Lately she has been painting plates, cups, tea cups, and putting them on etsy. I asked her to paint me some bicycle plates and now the design is selling like hot cakes! Check out her etsy! Support local crafters!

Last weekend a few friends and I ventured to Montreal. It was great! We ate well and drank well. We explored all areas of Montreal including Old Montreal which has an adorable European feel to it. We are already planning out next trip to Red Rock CO to see the Avett Brothers. Do you think we like to travel?

These babies are new to my shop. A friend brought up the idea when he wanted to give one to his GF and have a matching one for himself for Valentine's day. What a guy! These are super cute and a GREAT gift, especially for dudes. Girls never know what to buy guys. Brothers, brother-in-laws, dads, boyfriends...they are so hard to shop for. I can also make them in any size, even i-pad or kindle! Check em out!

I am totally not so much of a make up girl. I mean...I wear make up. But I dont particularly like make up. It's annoying and expensive and confusing and I dont know how to apply it correctly. My eyeliner always seems to drip and my bronzer looks like dirt...it's a mess. Recently I decided to venture into the world of mascara. Is it supposed to be this difficult to find something that doesnt make my eye lashes look like spider legs? I have tried a million! And by a million I mean 8 different mascaras. Some cheap some not. A make up artist at work one day made fun of my lashes and the next day a different artist gave me 4 of them to try. A found a winner! And she is revealed below!
